What is the weekend advance?
The Forge is not a retreat. It is a spiritual advance. We will be working hard physically and spiritually over the course of the weekend. You must be in reasonable physical health to participate in the weekend advance. You must be able to stand for extended periods of time and swing a 2-3 lbs hammer repeatedly. The Forge Advance happens in a small group environment of 12 men or less. We believe that friendship is key to a mans ability to advance. We are going to invest in one another and your willingness to do so is essential to your growth and the growth of others. You will have the opportunity to create bonds during this weekend that could last a lifetime. You will be challenged spiritually. This will not be a passive experience. We will work and live and learn together with the intention of becoming better men who honor God, build up others and impact eternity.
